Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026

This policy explains how KarmaBoard ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use karmaboard.app, the KarmaBoard controller and the KarmaBoard player on your screens.

Information we collect

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture. We use them solely to create and sign in to your KarmaBoard account. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, calendar, files or any other Google data. KarmaBoard's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with others except as needed to run the service.

How we use information

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate KarmaBoard (hosting, email delivery, payment processing and live-data providers), and only as needed for them to provide those services, or when required by law. Live-feed providers receive only the query needed (for example a city or stock symbol), never your identity.

Retention & deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. Unpairing a screen removes its device token. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time using the contact page.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted to your account. Screens receive only the content they display and never your account credentials.

Children

KarmaBoard accounts are intended for people 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from younger children.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above when we do.
